We couldn't handle such an aggressive bird :( But we took him to Tree Top and they are working with him and trying to find him a good home.
The bite is healing well, but will probably leave a scar. A small price to pay to find Chico a kind and loving home :)

Holy cow! That looks like that hurt something terrible? I had a yellow nape male that would bite me at the drop of the hat. He could bite
harder and slice you open worst then bigger birds. I have be nailed by much bigger birds over the years but Mean Green Gabby Goo was the worst.
Sorry you got nailed, male amazons are tough to deal with.
